Terms of Rental Service
Rental service applies to all rental items that are booked through in store - A-JANE HQ KL or online - official website. Always read and accept the T&C before proceeding to the service.
a. Deposit
- A deposit is needed when you rent. Fixed deposit RM500 for A-JANE, fixed deposit RM200 for NOIZ.
- Will be returned upon confirmation by the lender that the returned items are in the same condition as at the time of collecting (except any late return without notice or damage penalties)
- No fees are charged for try-ons.
- All items rented via NOIZ will come together with garment bags and hangers.
self pick-up is available on the day you intend to rent the item(s).
- Customers may arrange for self-pick-up at a-jane HQ or their own courier service with all associated fees to be borne by customers.
- Customers are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for any additional fees if delivery is left unattended or fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
c. Incorrect or faulty items
- If you’ve been receiving the incorrect item, please do let us know immediately by contacting our customer service on WhatsApp and we’ll do our best to get you a replacement.
- For issues such as major damages, faults, or stains, please notify us within 2 hours of receiving the items, and before wearing them.
- Refunds may be refused if customers fail to report damages or faults within the specified timeframe, as it becomes unclear when or by whom the damages were caused.
- Customers acknowledge that the items being sent to you are not brand new, and may have signs of wear.
d. Issue with fit
- We strive to provide detailed fit info of all the rental item(s) available.
- We take no responsibility if a chosen size or item does not fit.
- Last-minute exchange are not accepted due to limitations on sizes and quantities.
e. Returning of items
- If your return falls on a weekend or a public holiday, may return the item on the next working day.
- Returning all items, garment bags, and hangers is a must on the return date.
f. Made an appointment
- Rental services are by appointment basis only.
- To try on or rent the items, please make sure to contact CUSTOMER SERVICE at least 7 days(within KL) or 10 days(out of KL) before your event date.
- Last-minute appointments may NOT be entertained.
g. Cleaning
- All garments undergo dry-cleaning upon return.
- No any additional fees are charged when stains can be removed.
- Any attempt to clean a garment, resulting in damage, or permanent stains, the full retail price of the garment will be charged. this fee will be on top of any amount already paid for rental or postage.
h. Damage or lost
- If damage is seen when receiving the garments, please take photos and contact our customer service through WhatsApp quickly.
- Repair or clean the rental item(s) yourself or by anyone else is prohibited.
- Any damages found on an item, the original retail price will be charged.
Item lost or not returned, the original retail price will be charged.
i. Cancellations
- We reserve the rights to decline any cancellation request if we do not receive any notice before 1 day of rental date.
j. Cancellations by us
Reasons for cancellation include, but are not limited to:
- Item damaged by a customer who has rented the item prior to you.- Item lost or stolen by a customer who rented the item prior to you.
- Inability to deliver the item on time due to late returns or other reasons.
In all cases above, you’ll be entitled to a full refund of the items that have been canceled.
